Where we meetSwarthmore Meeting House
Whittier Room, 12 Whittier Place Swarthmore, PA 19081 Swarthmore Meeting House is in the middle of Swarthmore campus, at the end of the one-way Whittier Place driveway. There is parking on the driveway and also in the big lot across Whittier Place. The entrance to the building is through the double doors with glass facing Whittier Place. Once inside, go left up the steps and into the gorgeous Whittier Room. |
When and how we practiceWe meet every Tuesday night.
Practice begins at 7:30 and starts with chanting followed by silent meditation. Meditation consists of two sittings with a short walk in between. We end with a dedication of merit. This is followed by study and discussion from 8:30-9:00. Chairs provided. Those who prefer to sit on a cushion, please BYOC (bring your own cushion). On the first Tuesday of each month we offer meditation instruction. See Upcoming Events for a more detailed schedule. |
